Rachel Kadish is the award-winning author of the novels The Weight of Ink, From a Sealed Room, and Tolstoy Lied: a Love Story, as well as the novella I Was Here. Her short fiction has been read on National Public Radio and has appeared in Zoetrope, Ploughshares, Iowa Review, Prairie Schooner, New England Review, the Pushcart Prize Anthology, and in various other anthologies. Her essays have appeared in The New York Times, The Paris Review, Salon, Quartz, Poets & Writers, The Good Men Project, Utne Reader, and Tin House, as well as in anthologies such as The Modern Jewish Girl’s Guide to Guilt and Who We Are: On Being (And Not Being) a Jewish Writer in America.
